Maintenance

Care & maintenance

How a Terrazzino floor is maintained depends on which finish was applied: a sealed urethane topcoat, or Terrazzino Cera.

Urethane-topcoated floors

  • The urethane topcoat is a sealed, wear-resistant surface — it is not buffed or re-waxed.
  • Routine cleaning products and pH range: [cleaning products and pH]
  • Recoat interval: [recoat interval]

Terrazzino Cera finish

  • Maintained by mopping, with periodic buffing using a white pad.
  • Schools and hospitals that use this route typically buff weekly, and strip and re-coat the finish periodically.
  • Can be slippery when wet. [NEEDS DATA: confirm — per finish TDS]
  • Water and chemical exposure can cloud the finish. [NEEDS DATA: confirm — per finish TDS]
