System
One floor, five layers
A self-leveling decorative epoxy floor that combines a fine Terrazzino aggregate blend with a two-component, 100% solids clear epoxy binder to achieve the look of terrazzo in one application.

- Prepared concrete substrate — Diamond ground flat and clean; cracks and holes opened, filled slightly high and ground flush.
- Terrazzino Moisture Vapor Control — Moisture vapor barrier. Required on all slab-on-grade work and any application directly over concrete. Thickness: 20 mils (planning). Alternative: Over eligible non-porous surfaces only: Terrazzino Fast Set Primer (300 sq ft/gal planning). The primer is not a moisture barrier.
- Terrazzino High Build Epoxy — 100% solids pigmented epoxy matched to the blend; sets the background tone and seals pinholes. Thickness: 20 mils (planning).
- Terrazzino micro-terrazzo — Self-leveling clear epoxy binder with Terrazzino aggregate, spread at 60 mils with a 50–60 mil notched squeegee or wire gauge rake, then loop-rolled. Thickness: 60 mils (target).
- Terrazzino Topcoat or Cera finish — Urethane topcoat for wear, chemical and UV protection — or Terrazzino Cera polymer finish for maintained floors. Thickness: 2–3 mils urethane (planning).

Terrazzino Topcoat or Cera finish
2–3 mils urethane (planning)
Urethane topcoat for wear, chemical and UV protection — or Terrazzino Cera polymer finish for maintained floors.

Terrazzino Moisture Vapor Control is required on all slab-on-grade work and any application directly over concrete. Terrazzino Fast Set Primer is an alternative only over eligible non-porous surfaces, and is not a moisture barrier.
[NEEDS DATA: confirm MVB eligibility criteria]Finish options
Urethane topcoat or Terrazzino Cera
Urethane topcoat
Applied over the cured Terrazzino layer for wear, chemical, and UV protection. Recommended where improved UV stability or chemical resistance is needed.
Terrazzino Cera
A polymer, wax-like finish intended for floors that will be maintained with periodic buffing and re-waxing rather than a sealed topcoat.
